If you are running for public
office in Texas, the office you are seeking will dictate the jurisdiction
(political entity) where you must go to file for a place on the ballot:
- Individuals who want to
run for a Federal, State or County office representing one of the two
major political parties must file for a place on the ballot at the
headquarters of their preferred party:

the ballot with the Harris County Judge:
